MONTAGGIO SALVA AGO, E SPINGI AGO SU TESTE SERIE 264 a 2 aghi
II montaggio del salva ago si esegue con Tago di sinistra tolto.
Montare la squadretta supporto salva ago A (fig. 39) sul basamento, fissandola
leggermente con le viti B.
Montare 11 salva ago C a battuta sulla squadretta A, fissandolo con le viti D.
Verificare che I'ago nella sua corsa discendente sfiori il salva ago come illustrato in
fig. 40.
Bloccare le viti B.
Montare I'ago mancante e la piastrina E (fig. 39).
Facendo scendere gli aghi controllare che questi si trovino con la piastrina E nelle
condizioni illustrate in fig. 41.
Stringere le viti B e F.
FITTING FRONT AND REAR NEEDLE GUARDS ON CLASS 264 2-NEEDLE
MACHINES
The rear needle guard must be fitted after removing the left hand needle.
Fit the rear needle guard holder
bracket A (fig. 39} on the base, fixing it lightly
with screws B.
Fit rear needle guard C close up to bracket A, fixing It by means of screws D.
Check that the needle, during its downward stroke, just grazes the rear needle guard
as shown in fig. 40.
Tighten screws B.
Fit in the missing needle and plate E (fig. 39).
Lower the needles and check that they, and plate E, are in the positions shown in
fig.
41.
Tighten screws B and F.
