Rimoldi 263 - FEED DOG ADJUSTMENTS

REGOLAZIONE SALVA AGHI MOBILI
Le teste serie 261 e 263 possono essere dotate, a richiesta, di salva ago mobile.
Detto salva ago e montato sul portagriffa; percio ad ogni variazione di lunghezza del
punto sara indispensabile posizionare ii salva ago onde ottenere le condizioni
riportate in fig. 43, procedendo come segue:
1. Regolazione su porta griffa senza differenziale
• Ruotare il volantino fino a portare la griffa tutta in avanti (verso I'operatrice).
Allentare il dado A e far scorrere il salva ago B (fig. 44) fino a trovare le
condizioni della fig. 43. Bloccare il dado A e controllare le condizioni sopra
descritte.
2. Regolazione su porta griffa differenziale
Le operazioni sono le stesse del paragrafo 1; in questo caso pero e necessario fare
attenzione affinche non venga spostata verticalmente la griffa principale, tenendo
presente che le cuspid! del dent! di questa devono essere sullo stesso piano di
quelle della griffa differenziale.
ADJUSTMENT OF MOVABLE REAR NEEDLE GUARDS
Class 261 and 263 heads can be fitted on request with movable rear needle guard.
This needle guard is
mounted on the feed dog holder; therefore every time the
stitch length is altered it is essential to position the rear needle guard in order to
obtain the conditions shown in fig. 43, proceeding as follows:
1. Adjustment on feed dog holder without differential
Turn handwheel until the feed dog is in its most forward position (towards the
operator). Slacken nut A and slide rear needle guard B (fig. 44) until it is
positioned as shown in fig. 43. Lock nut A and check conditions described
above.
2. Adjustment on differential feed dog holder
The operations are the same as in paragraph 1; in this case, though, care must be
taken not to move the main feed dog vertically, bearing in mind that the points
of
the feed dog teeth must be on the same level as those of the differential feed
dog.
