Group Delay
The VM-83 directly converts the vibration input signal from analog into digital
form and performs signal processing in the digital domain, using a DSP. The
signal is then reconverted to analog for the AC and DC output. For this reason,
a certain delay (group delay) is introduced as shown below.
Rack Mounting
The VM-83 can be mounted in a rack, using the four screw holes on the bottom
of the unit.
