Communication with Multiple Units using SC-31M/SC-31S
Using the optional SC-31M/SC-31S adapters, it is possible to connect up to
16 VM-83 units to a single computer.

Use SC-31M/SC-31S adapters (option) and LAN cables (generic 10BaseT
cable)
Maximum allowable wiring distance: 400 m
Note
(1) When multiple units are connected, commands
can be sent either to a single unit or all units. It is
not possible to send for example a command to
3 out of 5 connected units.
(2) When sending commands to all units, only set-
ting commands are valid. Commands for get-
ting information (parameter "?") and the DOF
command are invalid.
