In regards to installation or any work with rack, the following caution must be considered:
WORKING WITH RACK
• This rack is easily tipped, ensure rack is secured.
• Instructed or Skilled persons to handle rack only.
• People handling the rack must wear PPE in accordance with local risk assessments and local
regulations.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury or equipment damage.
Statement 10
In regards to integration of rack before forward shipping or integration at data centre, the follow warnings
must be upheld:
TIP / HEAVY EQUIPMENT
• This rack is easily tipped. Use extreme caution when handling.
• Instructed or Skilled persons to handle rack only.
• Rack must be attached to pallet and located on a level even floor if forward shipping.
• Do not remove side rack to pallet braces or front and rear bolt down brackets if forward shipping.
• Rack must be secured before installing or removing equipment, via bolt down or bayed to adjacent
racks.
• Install heaviest equipment first and towards the bottom of the rack to prevent the rack from
becoming top-heavy.
• Only one component is extended at a time. A rack may become unstable if more than one
component is extended for any reason.
• Please check pallet brace and bolt down bracket bolt torques before forward shipping.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or equipment
damage.
Statement 11
In regards to electrical hazards of rack, the follow warnings must be upheld:
HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Connection of the rack to building Common Bonding Network (CBN) is required.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or equipment
damage.
