Introduction
Using an advanced detection system consisting of up to five gas
sensors, the GX-2003 Personal Gas Monitor detects the
presence of combustible gases, oxygen (O
2
), carbon monoxide
(CO), and hydrogen sulfide (H
2
S) simultaneously. The
GX-2003’s compact size and easy-to-use design makes it
ideally suited for a wide range of applications as described in the
GX-2003 Operator’s Manual, which you should read first before
using the GX-2003 Data Logging Software.
The GX-2003 Data Logging Software downloads stored data in
the GX-2003 to a Windows-based PC. After the data has been
downloaded, you can view, save, or print it using your computer
and the GX-2003 Data Logging Software. The GX-2003 Data
Logging Software can also calibrate the GX-2003 by setting the
zero and the span.
The purpose of this manual is to explain how to use and set up
the GX-2003 Data Logging Software. You will learn how to:
install and launch the software
install the downloading cable (if needed)
download data from the GX-2003
view, print, and save data
change data logging parameters
change the appearance of the software screens
change the color of graphed readings for a particular gas
calibrate the GX-2003
Before you get started, be sure to review system requirements
in the next section.
