Convenient functions (Utility)
1.
Press the [menu] button.
The Menu screen appears.

Use the cursor [ÌÌ] [ÊÊ] buttons to select “Utility”, and
press the [enter] button.
The Utility Menu screen appears.
3.

to execute, and press the [enter] button.

NOTE
Never turn o the power or unplug the USB ash drive when
“Executing...” is shown onscreen, if one of the Utility functions is
being performed.
Restoring the factory settings (Factory Reset)
Here’s how to restore settings that you saved on the GO:KEYS to
their factory settings.

Note that this operation causes all data saved on this instrument
such as scenes, chord patterns and songs to be lost.

If you wish to use the current settings later, be sure to use the backup
function (p. 44) to save the current settings before you restore the
factory settings.
1.
On the Utility Menu screen, select “Fact Reset” and
press the [enter] button.
The Factory Reset screen appears.
Operation Explanation
Reset User Data
Initializes all scenes, user tones, user drum kits,
user styles, user chord patterns and MIDI songs.
Reset System Data
Initializes the system settings, the mixer audio
level and the favorite tones.
Remove License
Initializes the user license.
Initializing the user license lets you import/install
sound contents that were downloaded with a
different user license.
When you execute this operation, all Style
Packs
(the styles saved to the user bank) and
Wave Expansions that have been imported and
installed are deleted.
2.
Press the [f1]
(USER)
button, [f2]
(SYS)
button or the [f3]
(LCNS)
button to select the check box for the operation
you want to execute.
Press the same button again to deselect the check box.
NOTE
Deselect the check boxes of the settings and data that you want to
keep.

Press the [f4]
