If you wish to extend the cable distance, make sure you use the correct cable
according to the cable color.
Power to the OSDP readers is to be taken from the reader +12 V outputs.
Do not connect more than two readers per each +12 V output.
Some readers are
not supplied with a cable. Please refer to the reader’s manual
for connecting it to the relevant reader port.
OSDP readers MUST be set to addresses 13 and 14.
Refer to the reader specifications for the maximum cable length, typically
150 m (492 ft) with an 18 AWG cable.
