INSTALLATION
WALL ANCHORS
The control panel must be installed according to all local
and state codes. All wall anchor hardware and material
required to install the control panel are the responsibility
of the door owner.
If you have any questions regarding the installation of
the control panel, call your Rytec representative or the
Rytec Customer Support Department at 800-628-1909.
CONTROL PANEL INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: The control panel must be
installed in an area having a tem-
perature range of 14 – 149° F.
Consult factory if temperature is
below 14° F.
IMPORTANT: The fused disconnect and the
control panel must be installed
within sight of the door.
NOTE: The control panel and fused disconnect
are generally located adjacent to the drive
end of the head assembly.
1. Install the System 3 control panel and the fused dis-
connect as shown in Figure 1.
The mounting brackets and associated hardware
are located in the control panel. (See Figure 2.)
You must provide the hardware necessary to attach
these brackets to the wall. (See “WALL
ANCHORS” at left.)
IMPORTANT: The mounting surface must be
structurally sound, and free of
mechanical shock or vibration.
IMPORTANT: To maintain the enclosure rating
(Type-4 standard), the control
panel must be mounted with the
brackets and hardware provided.
