3 Getting Started
3.1 Unpacking
Open the packaging and carefully pull the module out of the foam packaging without touching the lens
surfaces. Check cleanliness of the module and carefully remove any particles.
NOTICE
Be careful with ESD:
The LRF module is sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Do not touch any electronics or
components unless protective measures are applied.
NOTICE
Take care of:
Scratches and fingerprints on the optics can reduce range performance.
The front lens is not sealed and therefore the LRF is not gas or watertight.
Remove the yellow stickers on bench holes before flushing the air out of the system, so that
nitrogen can fill the optical system of the LRF module.
