14-2-3 Test operation
Precautions before the test operation
• Preheat the crankcase heater by turning the switch on before 6 hours to test operation.
• If the heater is not heated right after switch ON, it dose not operate during 2 hours 30 minutes to protect a
compressor. (On this occasion, CH is displayed on the check display part of outdoor unit PCB.)
■ Pre-check for the test operation
1. Check the indoor and outdoor unit power
cable, and communication wire.
● Electric part F1-Indoor unit F1/ Electric instrument F2-Indoor
unit F2
2. Preheat the compressor crankcase heater by
turning power breaker(3 phases & single
phase) on before 6 hours to test operation.
● Power ON 3 phases first, and single phase.
● If the crankcase heater is not heated, CH is displayed on
the check display part of outdoor unit.
● On CH status, the outdoor dose not operate. Be sure to not
break the compressor by a forced operation.
● The crankcase heater uses single phase power(220V).
3. Check the power between the outdoor unit and
the cabinet panel.
● Check the power L1(RED), L2(WHITE), and L3(BLACK)
3 phases of the compressor and the cabinet panel by use of
3 phases tester.
● Check the 220V by use of the tester.
