The SAE/BHL selector switch (a) is located on the forward
wall inside the left front door.
The SAE/BHL selector (a) changes control of the boom and
the arm from one joystick to the other. The position shown
is the SAE mode position (b). To change to the BHL
position, pull up on the pin and rotate the bar to the right (c).
Release the pin to lock the bar in place.
• In SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) mode, the
arm is controlled using the left joystick and the boom
using the right joystick.
• In BHL (Backhoe Loader) mode, the arm is controlled
using the right joystick and the boom is controlled
using the left joystick.
