BEFORE TAKING PICTURES
For best results
Holding the camera
Hold the camera securely with both hands, keeping your elbows close to your
body and making sure the camera is stable.
Make sure that the lens and flash are not blocked by your fingers or the
hand-strap.
HINT
œ When a picture is taken with the camera held vertically, the image played
back on the LCD monitor screen or on a TV set will be shown on its side.
However, images captured in the still image shooting mode or sequential
shots shooting mode can be rotated when they are played back (see page
89). Note that video clips cannot be rotated when they are played back.
