– Disconnect the following cables:
Power supply (I); weighing system (K);
weight application mechanism (L); display and control unit (M).
– You can now remove the main PCB.
– Follow these steps in reverse order to install the new PCB.
– The balance must now be programmed (if the PCB installed is not pre-pro-
grammed).
Note: After programming the balance, check the linearity and span.

Note: Warning When Using Pre-wired RS-232 Connecting Cables:
RS-232 cables purchased from other manufacturers often have incorrect pin
assignments for use with Sartorius balances. Be sure to check the pin assign-
ments against the chart on the right before connecting the cable, and discon-
nect any lines marked “Internally Connected” (e.g., Pin 6). Failure to do so
may damage or even or even completely ruin your balance and/or peripheral
device.
