Application Range
Verification Each OLEO LB buffer is delivered packed in its own collapsible cardboard box.
Each buffer order also includes one electrical and one mechanical set.
The electrical set contains the pre-assembled switch-cable-connector unit complete with
switch fixing parts. The bistable safety switch, which is of the manual reset type, is
already set.
The mechanical set contains four anchor bolts with nuts and washers.
Connections The electrical safety switch supervising the buffer has to be integrated correctly into the
safety circuit.
Adjustment The safety component is adjusted by the manufacturer. Further adjustment work is not
allowed unless defined in this document.
Safety Examinations If national legislation requires periodic tests, instructions given for the acceptance test
and functional checks must be obeyed.
Test Specifications
Specifications for Buffer Tests
Oil Use HLP 68/ISO 6743/4 L-HM68, in accordance with DIN 51524. These are mineral oils
with additives for improvement of anti-corrosion properties, anti-aging and improved
performance under boundary lubrication conditions (anti-seize additives).
