3.7 Safe Access to Car Top - Normal Car Top Safety Height of
1 m EN81-1 and EN81-20

– On the user interface (HMI) press the "RE-SET INSPECTION" button for more then
3 seconds
– An acoustic signal indicates the positioning mode
– The car moves to the control cabinet floor and the door opens.
– Press the "RE-SET INSPECTION" again
– The elevator door closes and the elevator travels slowly to below the control
cabinet zone
– A buzzer sounds.
– Open the hoistway door and access the car top
– Switch ON the inspection mode
– The buzzer stops
– The system is now ready in inspection mode.
