Troubleshooting
If you are unsuccessful at resolving the following conditions, contact SCHOTT North America or your
sales representative.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to repair the Light Source Removing the cover will void the warranty.
Problem
Reason/Measure
Indicator LED on front panel does
not light up.
Check for power connected to the Light Source.
Indicator LED on front panel is ON
continuously, but LED output is
dark.
Check polarity settings in software.
Indicator LED blinks
Fault exists. Use software interface to query reason.
Communications over Ethernet
not possible even though network
jack lights are flashing.
Ensure the Ethernet communication settings are correct.

If technical support cannot help you resolve your issue remotely, you may need to return your unit
under an RMA number. Technical support may suggest you elevate your RMA request to the
engineering level. Make sure to mark this on your form to receive this service (additional fees may
apply).
