Automatic functions/Protective functions
9. Automatic functions/Protective functions
Wind, sun and frost values have to be set individually for every receiver. The simultane-
ous setting of all motors in one group is not possible.
To set the wind, sun and frost values a transmitter and a sensor WS or WSRF have to
be programmed into the receiver.
9.1. Wind protection function (Wind automatic)
Caution!
• The wind protection function is a security function.
• The wind protection function can not be deactivated.
• Sun protection systems may usually only be operated up to a certain wind
speed. The manufacturer of the sun protection system specifies the max-
imum value.
The manufacturer of the sun protection system determines the highest permitted wind
speed at which the sun protection system may still be operated. This value of the wind
speed will be saved into the receiver by using the hand-held transmitter. When the
measured value exceeds the saved value, the motor will retract the sun protection
system immediately. The sun protection system is then blocked for further use. Retrac-
tion commands will only be executed for a few seconds. The motor will immediately
retract the sun protection system again. When the measured value stays below the set
maximal value for 15…21 minutes, the sun protection system is released for further
use. Manual retracting commands will then be executed again. Provided that the sun
automatic is switched on and the threshold value is exceeded for the sun light (see
chapter sun automatic), the sun protection system will extend automatically.
