Scanning glass and rollers
Clean the scanning glass and rollers frequently to ensure the quality of
transmitted images and copies. Open the operation panel (pull the release
marked PANEL RELEASE toward you), and wipe the scanning glass and
rollers with a soft cloth.
♦ Make sure that all dirt and stains (such as correcting fluid) are removed,
as dirts and stains will cause vertical lines on transmitted images and
copies.
♦ Adhesive cellophane tape is useful for removal of debris from the rollers.

Wipe the external parts and surface of the machine with a dry cloth.
