Demonstration Mode
Available modes: TAPE-CAMERA, DUAL-
CAMERA, CARD-CAMERA
You can watch a brief demonstration of the
special camcorder features in Demo mode.
If the demonstration appears on the screen
when you turn on the camcorder for the first
time, cancel the Demo mode to use your
camcorder.
Watching the Demonstration
1 Remove the Mini DV cassette from the
camcorder (see page 14).
2 Hold down the Lock
button and set the
POWER switch to
CAMERA.
3 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button until
the menu screen appears.
4 Select I, then press SET. Select
“DEMO MODE” (1), then press SET
(2).

5 Press f or d to select “ON”, then press
SET.
6 Set the POWER switch to OFF, then
hold down the Lock button and set the
POWER switch to CAMERA.
• The demonstration begins.
Cancelling Demo Mode
1 During the demonstration,
press the MENU/DISPLAY
button until the menu
screen appears.
2 Select I, then press SET. Select
“DEMO MODE”, then press SET.
3 Press f or d to select “OFF”, then
press SET.
4 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button to
turn off the menu screen.
Note:
• The demonstration will pause if you press the
MENU/DISPLAY button. If you leave it for 60
seconds, or turn the power off temporarily and
then set the POWER switch to CAMERA, the
demonstration will begin again.
