Recording with the Guide
Frame
Available mode: CARD-CAMERA
When your subject is a person, displaying
guide frames on the screen will give you a
gauge for deciding on the size of the subject’s
image.
Guide frame options
CLOSE-UP: This will display a guide frame for
recording a person’s face in close-up.
PORTRAIT: This will display a guide frame for
recording an upper-body view of a person.
FULL-BODY: This will display a guide frame for
recording a full-body view of a person.
1 In CARD-CAMERA mode, display the
menu screen.
2 Select W, then press SET. Press a or
s to select “GUIDE FRM”, then press
SET.
3 Press a or s to select “CLOSE-UP”,
“PORTRAIT” or “FULL-BODY”, then
press SET.

4 Press the MENU/DISPLAY button to
turn off the menu screen.
• The selected guide frame is displayed.
To turn off the guide frame
Select “OFF” and then press SET in step 3
above.
