Copying an Image
from Tape to Card
Available mode:
Tape Playback
You can capture your favourite image frame
from a video tape recording and save it on
card.
1 Insert the recorded Mini DV cassette
and a card in the camcorder.
2 Set the camcorder to Tape Playback
mode, then begin tape playback.
3 Press m on the Operation button at
the point where the desired image
appears.
• A still picture of the image appears.
Note:
• To cancel the still picture, press m
again.
4 Press the PHOTO button to copy the
image to the card.
• The S indicator flashes red while the
image is copied.

3 Press l or m to select the desired
fine picture setting then press the
centre of the Operation button.
4 Press the DISPLAY/MODE SET
button to turn off the mode screen.
•“Q”, “R” or “S” appears when
on-screen indicators are turned on,
indicating that the fine picture function
is now working.
To cancel the fine picture playback
Select “OFF” in step 3 above.
Notes:
• Fine picture playback will set to “OFF”
automatically after turning off the camcorder.
• Fine picture setting for recording and fine
picture playback setting are separate
settings.
• Fine picture playback may have no effect
during still playback.
