12.1 Recommended lubricants/oil mist

12.2 Cleaning and servicing

Before cleaning and servicing, switch off SBM 855
and disconnect mains plug.
! Do not use any solvent-based cleaning agents. Use
alcohol or similar cleaning agents for plastic parts.
The following work is essential to ensure proper opera-
tion and high performance of the SBM 855:
12.2.1 Service intervals

Once a year
Clean moving mechanical parts, treat with spray oil
or kerosene and lubricate with engine oil or
a suitable grease.

Remove condensate.

Check the oil level in the oil mist lubricator.

Replace the oil in the oil mist lubricator.

12.2.2 Removing condensate
1. Turn the red knob at the bottom of the water separa-
tor counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the accumulated condensate.
3. Turn back the red knob at the bottom of the water
separator.
12.3 Spare and wearing parts
The manufacturer cannot accept any liability for
damage arising from the use of non-genuine replace-
ment parts.

12.2.3 Topping up oil in oil mist lubricator
1. Remove the compressed air connection.
2. Screw the container to the oil mist lubricator.
3. Top up with oil.

12.2.4 Replacing oil in oil mist lubricator
1. Remove the compressed air connection.
2. Screw the container to the oil mist lubricator.
3. Drain off and dispose of the oil.
4. Fill with fresh oil.
