You can only connect inputs to outputs and vice versa. Inputs are the blue squares
on the left side of an element. Outputs are the blue squares on the right side of an
element.

You can connect the output of a function block to multiple downstream function
blocks.
•
You can connect the output of a function block to multiple physical outputs.
