Notice
The logical evaluation whether or not the timeout value was exceeded, is time-
delayed by the system. This must be taken into account if actions that can only
capture realtime data are triggered by the timeout trigger. It is not possible to
capture precisely timed data from the cycle in which the timeout took place (max.
delay in the minute range).
Due to system dependencies, repeatability of the timeout function is also linked to
the communication runtimes which depend on the demands placed on the
interface between PLC and PC of the operator. Repetitions can usually be
implemented in less than one second. With high interface traffic, however, they
can take several seconds.
