Functional Units
The binary signal transmitter is a tested functional unit hardwired in the housing. The device has a snap-on
fastener for a 35-mm DIN rail as per DIN EN 50022. The auxiliary power supply can be safely connected to the
terminals. The RS232 interface is connected via a 9-pin D-sub socket. The fiber-optic channels are adapted
using ST connectors. The device contains no silicone, is halogen-free and flame-resistant.
