Transmission Modes
The binary-signal transmitter can receive 2 binary signals and transmit them directly up to 3 km via fiber-optic
paths using multimode optical fibers. At the remote station, the binary signals are issued via relay contacts.
For transmission via singlemode optical fibers up to 100 km, a repeater 7XV5461 is available.

After being connected to the RS232 interfaces, modems or PCM devices can be used for transmission.
