Area Measurement
To perform an area measurement:
1. Activate the Area function by selecting AREA from the MEASURE sub-menu.
2. Position the cross-hair cursor at the starting point by pressing the left Trackball button.
NOTE: If you have selected the continuous trace method in the SETUP / SYSTEM /
ADMIN page, use the Trackball to trace the area.
3. While drawing you can reverse direction using the right Trackball key to back up and
delete parts of the trace. If you have selected the point-to-point method in the SETUP /
SYSTEM / ADMIN page (by disabling Continuous Trace), use the Trackball to position the
cursor, and the left Trackball button to set multiple points.
4. To complete the measurement, leave at least a small gap between your nishing point
and the starting point, and press the left Trackball button twice. The system will complete
the trace and display the result next to the trace.
NOTE: It is possible to perform measurements on images being viewed from the
Study List, but the measurements cannot be saved in this case.
