Conguring the WiFi Network
WiFi Network Conguration Fields
Network Field Description
Network Name Unique name to identify the network in the Network List.
Network Type Select either Infrastructure or Adhoc.
• Infrastructure uses central access points such as routers for
communication.
• Adhoc allows wireless devices to communicate in a peer-to-
peer fashion.
Security Use the drop-down menu to select the security method used
by the WiFi network. See the Safety chapter of this Manual for
information about 802.11 b/g security.
Use the data entry elds in the security box to enter security
data. To import Enterprise WiFi Certicate data, select IMPORT
CERTIFICATE. Copy the certicate to a USB drive, then plug the
USB drive into the Freestyle. Select the certicate le name and
press OK to import the certicate.
IP Address When checked allows the system to automatically obtain an IP
Address.
[OK] Saves the settings for the network.
[Cancel] Closes the menu without saving settings.
