3.1 Commissioning the system

Precondition for complete work
1. Control panel fitted and detector lines ready for connection (1), or detector lines
connected to separate connection panel (2).
2. Peripheral devices such as operating terminal (3), plain text operating terminal,
parallel display, etc. fitted and connected to control panel.
3. Mains connection fitted and can be switched on.
4. Detector lines, alarm devices etc. are connected.
5. Interactive and AnalogPLUS detector lines tested with base tester or line tester.
6. All stationary devices such as manual call points, I/O modules fitted (exception:
Use AnalogPLUS input/output modules during subsequent programming).
7. Fire control cable in control panel ready for connection.
8. The hardware needed is present (plug-in modules, board holder, accessories,
terminal, possibly EPROM/RAM kits, batteries, all detectors for localization).

κ System documentation
κ Multimeter
κ Soldering iron (to possibly solder bridges and resistors)
κ Phillips screwdriver no.1 with long shaft for fitting the board holders
κ 2mm Allen key for fitting the DS11 manual call point
κ ESD protection mat
