Damage to input/output module due to increase in current
The external 24 V supply voltage must be monitored.
If a short circuit occurs on the control line, the 24 V supply voltage must be
disconnected.
The FDCIO223 input/output module does not contain any fuses. Therefore,
contact protection measures must be implemented by the customer.
Within the context of control, the secondary side supply voltage (24 V DC) is
applied to the relevant output via a relay. During control, there is no limiting of the
output current.
