5.1 General safety notes
The following safety notes apply to the central unit.
WARNING
Humid environment
Risk of electric shock.
• Avoid working on the device when it is energized.
• If working on an energized device is necessary, ensure that the environment is dry.
• Make sure when carrying out cleaning and maintenance work that no moisture penetrates
the inside of the device.

Dusty environment
Danger of electric shock.
• Avoid working on the device when it is energized.
• If working on an energized device is necessary, ensure that the environment is clean.
• Make sure when carrying out cleaning and maintenance work that no dust penetrates the
inside of the device.
CAUTION
Hazardous voltage at open device
Risk of electric shock when the enclosure is opened or enclosure parts are removed.
• Before you open the enclosure or remove enclosure parts, de-energize the device.
• If maintenance measures in an energized state are necessary, observe the particular
precautionary measures. Have maintenance work carried out by quali󹪝ed personnel.
The following safety notes apply to all system components, i. e., central unit, barrier box,
and optics housings.
