Operating the intercom
Intercom operation is partially software based. For detailed
information regarding the operation of the software, see: Software
operator manual
As the intercom is the “terminal device”, always ensure that the
necessary function is activated in the software. For example,
adjusting the volume at the intercom does not work if the
loudspeakers are switched off in the software.
Button Function
Listen Allows you to listen to the patient in the
examination room; resets the patient alert
Speak Allows you to speak to the patient (as long as
the button is pressed); resets the patient alert
Table Stop Stops table movement and measurement
immediately
To reset the table stop (if it was activated at
the intercom), you need to simultaneously
press the Table Up/ Inward and the Table
Down/Outward button at the control unit.
1 Press the Listen button.
The LED Listen lights up.
Patient announcements and sounds from the examination room
are transmitted to the control room (Listen mode).
2 Set the volume at the volume control Listen mode at the control
unit of the intercom.
3 Press the Listen button again to end the transmission.
The LED Listen goes out.
1 Set the volume at the volume control Patient instructions at the
control unit of the intercom.
2 Press and hold the Speak button.
The Squeeze bulb/announcement active LED lights up.
