One ECG channel, as well as the respiratory and pulse signals, are
simultaneously shown on the PMU display as real-time curves. Each
rising edge of the signal on the external trigger input is displayed as a
blinking * icon.
On the Physiological Display at the syngo Acquisition Workplace you
can view the patient's physiological signals. For details about
software operation, see: Software operator manual
General operation
1 Ask the patient to lie still during the measurement.
2 Inform the patient that the knocking sounds during the
measurement are caused by switching the gradients on and off.
The PERU may also vibrate slightly.
Knocking sounds may affect the heart rate of patients, either
consciously or subconsciously. The resulting irregular cardiac
cycles adversely affect image quality.
The touchscreen on the PMU Display offers the following
functionality:
ECG Channel Select button: Selecting the ECG channel (I or AVF)
The ECG channel selection returns to channel I once you reach
channel AVF.
Scroll Speed button: Setting the write speed for the curves
You can choose from three different write speeds: Level 1, 2, and 3.
Acoustic Signal button: Activating/deactivating the acoustic signal
