4-2 Installing the generator and the stand
Removing the generator cover
1 Pry loose the plastic strip (1) and remove the sixteen screws (2), eight on each side.
NOTE!
Pay special attention to the contact washers (there are four contact washers on either
side). They are needed again when reassembling the front cover to establish protective
ground connection and to fulfil EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) requirements.
2 Remove the front cover (3) from the generator.
