8 SOFTWARE_REVISION Firmware version of the device
9 HARDWARE_REVISION Hardware version of the device
10 DEVICE_MAN_ID Manufacturer’s code SIEMENS AG = 42
11 DEVICE_ID Manufacturer’s identification: e.g. ULTRAMAT 23
12 DEVICE_SER_Num Serial number of the device
13 DIAGNOSIS Bit encoded standard diagnostic messages
15 DIAGNOSIS_MASK Bit mask indicating which DIAGNOSIS bits are supported.
17 DEVICE_CERTIFICATION Details about certification in plain text
18 WRITE_LOCKING Write protection function. Write access is refused with the error
code access denied.
19 FACTORY_RESET Command to trigger reset functions in the device:
• 0: No action.
• 1: Reset all parameters to the factory settings. Except for
the set station address, the IDENT_NUMBER
parameter and the ST_REV. The device shows the
following cold start in the corresponding bit of
DIAGNOSIS for 10 sec.
• 2506: Initiate a device warm start. The device shows the
following cold start in the corresponding bit of
DIAGNOSIS for 10 sec.
• 2712: Reset the station address to the normal PROFIBUS
default address 126.
20 DESCRIPTOR Option to store a description of the device within an application.
21 DEVICE_MESSAGE Option to store a message about the device within an application.
22 DEVICE_INSTAL_DATE Installation date of the device
23 LOCAL_OP_ENA Enable local operation
24 IDENT_NUMBER Each PROFIBUS device must check an identification number
issued by the PNO in the Configuration Phase. The user sets the
configuration behavior of the device here:
• 0: Only the PROFILE identification number is acknowledged
positively.
• 1: Only the device-specific identification number is
acknowledged positively.
