To create a function block, follow these steps:
1. Open the "Program blocks" folder in the project tree.
2. Double-click "Add new block".
The "Add new block" dialog opens.
3. Select the button "Function block".

4. Enter a name for the new block.
5. Select the language SCL.
6. Click on "OK" to confirm your input.
Result: You have created a function block.
