Workaround for topological configuration
If you receive the "Cable length mismatch" diagnostics, perform the following workaround:
1. Accept the diagnostics. If you cannot accept the diagnostics, continue with step 2.
2. Deselect the diagnostics in your Engineering System. Alternatively, perform step 3.
3. Replace the IM 155-5 PN HF with an IM 155-5 MF HF V5.0 in the configuration.
Unsupported BusAdapters
The following BusAdapters are not supported by IM 155-5 MF HF V5.0:
• BA 2xLC-LD (6ES7193-6AG50-0AA0)
• BA LC-LD/RJ45 (6ES7193-6AG60-0AA0)
• BA LC-LD/M12 (6ES7193-6AG70-0AA0)
3.3 Functions
3.3.1 PROFINET IO
Introduction
The interface module supports the following PROFINET IO functions:
• Integrated switch with 2 ports (via BusAdapter)
• Supports BusAdapter for different connection technologies to PROFINET IO
• Supported Ethernet services: ping, arp, SNMP, LLDP
• Port diagnostics
• Deactivating ports
• Isochronous real-time communication (IRT)
• Minimum update time 250 μs
• Device replacement without programming device
• Reset to factory settings via PROFINET IO
• Firmware update via PROFINET IO
• Media redundancy (MRP)
• Media redundancy with planned duplication (MRPD)
• Shared Device with up to four IO controllers
• Distribution of module channels to a maximum of 9 submodules
• Module-internal or submodule-internal Shared Input/Shared Output (MSI/MSO)
