7.2 Installing
Requirement
• The Industrial Ethernet/PROFINET cables are not inserted on the BusAdapter. The inserted
Industrial Ethernet/PROFINET cables hamper the mounting of the strain relief.
• Mount the strain relief before connecting the BusAdapter.
Tools required
Screwdriver TX10 (torx).
Procedure
To install the strain relief, follow these steps:
1. Hang the strain relief on the 4 suspension points in the front cover on the PROFINET device.

2. Fasten the strain relief (1 screw with 0.7 to 0.8 Nm tightening torque).
3. Plug the BusAdapter into the PROFINET device.
