A SIMATIC memory card is used as a memory module. You can use this as load memory
and as a portable data storage medium. The slot for the SIMATIC memory card is accessible
on the front of the CPU after removing the connection module. You can find detailed
information on removing and inserting the SIMATIC memory card in section
Inserting/replacing SIMATIC memory card (Page 73).
Use the mode switch to set the CPU operating mode.
The following table shows the position of the switch and the corresponding meaning.
