Commissioning the device
If you operate the device exclusively as monitor and do not change the brightness, you do
not need to commission the device. To use advanced functions of the device, perform the
following commissioning.
Requirement
• The Industrial Flat Panel is mounted according to the Quick Install Guide.
• The Industrial Flat Panel is connected according to the Quick Install Guide and connected
to a PC for commissioning.
The supplied connecting cables are only intended for commissioning and not for
continuous operation.
Procedure
1. Switch on the PC.
2. Switch on the power supply of the IFP Basic or IFP1200 Basic C.
3. Download the software package in SIOS
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109812464).
4. Follow the instructions for installation.
