the parameters onto the module, and carry out a cold
restart.
(02)05H Impermissible transmission rate Correct the impermissible parameter assignment, load
the parameters onto the module, and carry out a cold
restart.
(02)0FH Invalid parameter assignment detected at start of
parameter communication. Interface could not be
parametered.
Correct invalid parameters and restart.
(02)12H Impermissible

• Character Delay Time
With 3964(R) only:
• Acknowledgment delay time
Correct the impermissible parameter assignment, load
the parameters onto the module, and carry out a cold
restart.
Event Class 5 (05H): "Error processing a CPU request"
Event No. Event To correct or avoid errors
(05)01H Current request aborted as a result of CP restart. No remedy is possible at POWER ON. When changing
the parameters of the CP in the programming device,
before writing an interface you should ensure there
are no more requests running from the CPU.
(05)02H Request not permitted in this operating mode of CP
(e.g. device interface parameters are not set).
Set the parameters for the device interface.
