4.3 D4x5 power supply
D4x5
Manual, 05/2009
59
An error message is output if the backup function is defective. When the power is switched
ON, the clock then resumes at the time set at the factory.
If the SIMOTION D4x5 is reset to its factory setting, the clock is also reset to the "default
setting when delivered".
4.3 D4x5 power supply
External 24 V power supply
Power is supplied to the control unit by an external 24 V power supply (e.g., SITOP).
The tolerance range for the SIMOTION D4x5 is between DC 20.4 and 28.8 V.

With no load on inputs/outputs (no 24 V supply via DRIVE-CLiQ or PROFIBUS interface)
Note
A primary-side voltage dip lasting for 20 ms must not cause the voltage on the secondary
side (24 V) to fall below the minimum permissible input voltage for the Control Unit.
