8.8.2 Technical data of the braking resistor
For the converters, use the following or comparable braking resistors. The technical
properties and statements made by the manufacturer apply.
Note
Braking resistors FSD … FSF
Only use braking resistors that are UL approved, and have successfully passed the
"Abnormal Operation Test" according to UL 508.
FSG braking resistors
Make sure that the monitoring system for braking resistor tempera
ture shuts down the
converter in the event of any overload.
