Setting the metering pulse filter
The metering pulse filter can be set
● to 12 kHz or
● to 16 kHz

When operating the MD3 as a dedicated line modem, the setting for the metering pulse filter
is irrelevant.
Setting the loop power section
For dial-up operation, the loop power section must always be activated. For dedicated line
operation, the loop power section is deactivated.
