3.2.6 Handling miniature withdrawable units
Extracción de la unidad extraíble del compartimento
• Desconectar el interruptor principal.
• Poner los contactos de seccionamiento en la posición de sec-
cionamiento
• Abrir la puerta del compartimento.
• Mover la corredera (1) situada delante de la abertura de accio-
namiento hacia la derecha hasta el tope. Al hacerlo, tirar de la
unidad extraíble hacia delante para sacarla del compartimento,
de forma que pueda tomarse desde abajo para la extracción.
Sacar la unidad extraíble del compartimento.
Taking out the withdrawable unit from the compartment
• Switch off the main switch
• Bring the isolated contacts into the disconnected position
• Open the compartment door
• Move the gate valve (1) in front of the actuating opening to the
right up to the stop Pull the withdrawable unit forward from the
compartment so that it can be gripped from below. Take out the
withdrawable unit from the compartment.

• Depositar la unidad extraíble con la superficie trasera inferior
sobre la chapa portadora en el compartimento (el borde superior
izquierdo de la unidad debe encajar en la guía de la placa adap-
tadora) e insertarla en él hasta el tope sin demasiado balanceo.
• La palanca de la izquierda debe enclavarse en la pared lateral
izquierda.
• Cerrar la puerta del compartimento

• Open the compartment door
• Check if the withdrawable unit is in the disconnected position
and the main switch is in the 0 position.
• Put the withdrawable unit with rear lower surface on the sup-
porting plate in the compartment, the left upper edge of the
withdrawable unit must slot into the connection of the adapter
plate and push it gently into the compartment until it stops.
• The lever to the left must click into the left side wall.
• Close the compartment door.

3.2.7 Mechanical coding
Las unidades extraíbles pueden equiparse opcionalmente con una
codificación mecánica. La codificación mecánica impide de forma
confiable que la unidad extraíble establezca contacto con un compar-
timento inadecuado. La codificación consta tanto en el compartimento
como en la unidad extraíble de un disco externo y otro interno que
pueden girarse en sentidos contrarios. Las diferentes posiciones dan
lugar a 96 variantes posibles. En el compartimento, la posición de los
dos discos está girada 180° respecto a la de la unidad extraíble, con
simetría especular. De este modo, las asignaciones de letras y cifras
entre el compartimento y la unidad extraíble son diferentes (ver es-
quemas y tabla de abajo).
The withdrawable units can be equipped with an optional mechanical
coding. The mechanical coding reliably prevents a withdrawable unit
making contact with the wrong compartment. The coding in the
compartment and withdrawable unit consists of an outer and an inner
disk, which can be turned in opposite directions to each other. There
are 96 possible variations based on the different positions. The
position of the two disks in the compartment is turned and mirrored
by 180° to the position in the withdrawable unit. Thus the letter-
number assignments between compartment and withdrawable unit
are different (see diagrams and table below).
