Connection of load cells to SIWAREX U:
Load cells located in Zone 1 or Zone 2 can be connected to SIWAREX U.
For a connection of load cells in Zone 2 it is sufficient when the load cells also have
an authorization for Zone 2 and all relevant guidelines and assembly instructions
are observed.
For a connection of load cells in Zone 1 the load cells require the relevant
authorizations and relevant measures pursuant to the guidelines must ensure safe
operation. For example, the connection of SIWAREX R load cells via the Ex
interface SIWAREX IS is intrinsically safe. The instructions for the Ex interface, the
load cells, and from the ATEX and c-UL-CSA guidelines must be observed here.
Installation and maintenance:
The necessary connection and installation work may only be performed by
qualified personnel.
Repairs may only be carried out at the place of manufacture of the module.
