7.5.4 Diagnostic buffers on SIWAREX U
SIWAREX U components from Version 5 on possess their own diagnostic buffer.
In this diagnostic buffer, data and operator errors, operating faults, and process
messages are entered and can be displayed when required via the component
status in STEP 7 (see picture, Component status).
The last 9 entries are listed in chronological order. Since SIWAREX U does not
have a clock, the time indications given are relative to the time the SIWAREX U
component was switched on. No entries are made for the date.

7.6 Process alarms
Process alarms are used to detect the status change of the limit values. In OB40
the status change in the local data byte 8 is recorded:
Bit 0: Channel 1, limit value 1 comes
Bit 1: Channel 1, limit value 1 goes
Bit 2: Channel 1, limit value 2 comes
Bit 3: Channel 1, limit value 2 goes
Bit 4: Channel 2, limit value 1 comes
Bit 5: Channel 2, limit value 1 goes
Bit 6: Channel 2, limit value 2 comes
Bit 7: Channel 2, limit value 2 goes
