10.1 Overview
Siebert digital remote displays can be connected to the TTY port of SIWAREX U.
As standard, the 6-digit display model "S102-W6/14/0R-000/0B-TM for Siwarex
U/M/A/CS with TTY" is intended.
A corresponding protocol is realized in SIWAREX U for the connection.

The following values can be displayed:
• Gross weight value - weighing channel 1
• Gross weight value - weighing channel 2 (only with two-channel SIWAREX U)
• Default value 1 (can be freely assigned via SIMATIC)
• Default value 2 (can be freely assigned via SIMATIC)
Which of the values is displayed is determined by a corresponding address on the
remote display.
In the case of particular operating states (e.g. when the display range of the
remote display has been exceeded), SIWAREX U sends corresponding ASCII
characters via the protocol, providing the remote display is able to display these
ASCII characters.
