Press [MENU] to exit and *reboot (only if loading “Setup”)

*) When the system makes a ‘reboot’ the screen will turn black for a

brief moment, then the system will re-start and automatically return

to the active display which was on the screen before you made the

transfer.

8.5 Data transfer via NMEA connection

Data transfer to and from a second GN33 or a route planning pro-

gram on a Personal Computer can be made via NMEA connection

(see section 10.6) by means of the standard NMEA0183 sentences

WPL and RTE.

 The data transfer on these two sentences does not include WP sym-

bol, color, XTE limit, etc. Refer to section 10.5 for information on

connection to PC, and section 10.6.2 for connection between two

GN33 units.

Call up the menu bar, and...

Select the NMEA connection
